Deshawn Maysonet Obituary, Death – The New Haven Police Department has identified a 25-year-old man from Hamden, Deshawn Maysonet, who was fatally shot and later died at Yale New Haven Hospital. The incident occurred on Fairmont Avenue early Saturday morning. Police officers responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call reporting gunshots in the area.
Despite finding evidence of a shooting, they discovered that the victim had already been taken to the hospital. Maysonet arrived at the hospital in a vehicle, which was secured by the officers.
