Joseph Dorminey Death – On Friday, May 3, a fatal shooting occurred at a Little Ceasers in Lee County, resulting in the arrest of a man. The incident took place at the Lee Market Shopping Center on Highway 19, as confirmed by officials. Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals has identified the victim as Joseph Dorminey, the district manager at Little Ceasers, who unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect, who was also an employee at Little Ceasers, was apprehended without any complications on Saturday, May 4, in the 100 block of Philema Road, according to Lee County Chief Deputy Lewis Harris.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received support from the Albany Police Department, the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office, and the Dougherty County Police Department during the investigation. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has now taken charge of the case.
