Leonardo Torres Obituary – The Kern County Coroner’s Office has disclosed the identity of the cyclist who tragically lost his life in a collision with a semi-truck at the junction of Wible and Planz Roads on April 26. Leonardo Torres, aged 57, was riding his bicycle at approximately 5:58 p.m. when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Initial investigations indicate that the big rig was heading north on Wible Road, while Torres was traveling west on Planz Road when the collision took place. Regrettably, Torres succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The driver involved in the accident promptly returned to the location shortly after.
