Jeremiah Walker Obituary – An 18-year-old high school student was fatally shot in Sacramento early Sunday, according to the police. The victim has been identified as Jeremiah Walker by community advocate Berry Accius, who is speaking on behalf of the family.
Walker had recently attended prom and was preparing to graduate from Grant Union High School in a few weeks. The Twin Rivers Unified School District expressed their condolences and stated that they are deeply saddened by the loss of one of their students to gun violence.
They emphasized the need for the community to come together to prevent such senseless acts of violence. The school district’s Crisis Intervention Team will be present at the high school on Monday. The shooting took place in the Gateway West area near Natomas, and the circumstances leading up to it are currently being investigated.
