Doris Ruff Obituary – The woman who lost her life in a collision in Over-the-Rhine on Tuesday afternoon has been identified by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office as Doris Ruff, 75. She was declared deceased at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, as stated in the coroner’s report. Cincinnati police responded to the scene of the crash in the 1100 block of Central Parkway at approximately 3:15 p.m.
According to authorities, Ruff was driving an eastbound 2012 Chevrolet Cruze on West Liberty Street at Central Parkway when she disregarded a red light, resulting in a collision with two other vehicles at the intersection. Despite causing only minor damage, Ruff proceeded to turn onto Central Parkway in the wrong direction. Her vehicle ultimately collided with a building near West 12th Street.
Following the incident, Ruff was taken to the hospital, where she later passed away. Police have confirmed that she was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Individuals who may have witnessed the accident are urged to contact the CPD Traffic Unit at 513-352-2514.
