Brenda Grace Obituary – On Thursday, a tragic head-on collision on Highway 20 in Mayes County claimed the life of a 62-year-old woman. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has identified the victim as Brenda Grace. Sadly, Mesta EMS pronounced her deceased at the scene, located east of North 447 Road.
According to the OHP, the accident occurred at approximately 9:48 a.m. It was determined that Grace’s vehicle veered across the center line for reasons unknown, resulting in the collision.
Tragically, Grace was trapped inside her vehicle for a duration of two hours. The Spavinaw Fire department worked diligently to extricate her from the wreckage.
In regards to the occupants of the other vehicle involved, a man and a woman, they sustained injuries that are not considered life-threatening. They were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, as reported by the OHP.
