Adrian Mitchell Obituary – Prichard authorities have stated about their inquiry into a shooting incident that occurred early Saturday morning.
The official statement is as follows:
“Prichard police responded to a call this morning, initially believed to be a medical emergency involving an African American male found on the side of O’Neal St. However, upon their arrival, along with EMS personnel, it was determined that they were actually at the scene of a homicide. MCSO Crime Scene Investigators were summoned to document the scene and preserve evidence.
The victim has been identified as 46-year-old Adrian Mitchell. Further investigation revealed that the victim was shot multiple times at Moody’s Motel on St. Stephens Rd before fleeing on foot and collapsing on O’Neal St. Prichard detectives are actively investigating this murder, seeking additional witnesses and potential suspects.
