Adam E. Miller Obituary: Stark County man, 19, identified as victim in fatal motorcycle crash.

Adam E. Miller Obituary – A 19-year-old male resident of Beach City, Stark County, tragically lost his life in a collision involving two vehicles in Holmes County. The incident occurred at approximately 5:18 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of State Route 515 and County Road 168 in Walnut Creek Township. The victim, identified as Adam E. Miller, was riding a 2014 Kawasaki motorcycle at the time of the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Paint Township (Winesburg) Emergency Medical Services.

According to preliminary investigations conducted by deputies, Miller was traveling south on State Route 515 when he collided with a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by John F. Owens, an 88-year-old resident of Sugarcreek. It was determined that Owens had entered Miller’s path from a stop sign at the intersection of County Road 168, resulting in the collision that caused Miller to be ejected from his motorcycle.

Both vehicles involved in the crash remained at the scene. Miller was wearing a helmet, and Owens had his seat belt fastened at the time of the incident. Authorities have ruled out the suspicion of impaired driving for both drivers. The intersection was closed for several hours to facilitate the investigation conducted by the authorities. Deputies are continuing their efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Emergency responders from Paint Township (Winesburg) Fire and Emergency Medical Services, Holmes County Coroner Dr. Leon Miller, and Holmes County Prosecutor Matt Muzic were present at the scene to provide assistance.
