Ty Shad Campbell Obituary, Death РAt 4:25 a.m., authorities from the Newark police department arrived at the 300 block of Grove Street in response to a distress call. They discovered Campbell outside the premises, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds, as confirmed by Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Frag̩. Campbell was swiftly transported to University Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival, as stated by Stephens and Frag̩.

In order to cover the expenses for Campbell’s funeral, his family has initiated a fundraising campaign. As of Wednesday, January 17, a total of $450 has been collected. The funeral service is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 20, as mentioned in the fundraiser’s details.

Lyndon Brown, the organizer of the fundraiser, expressed that Ty’Shad was a cherished father, son, brother, cousin, and great-grandson. The devastating loss of Campbell has deeply affected both family members and close friends.

Campbell, who graduated from East Orange Campus High School in 2015, actively participated as a wide receiver and cornerback for the Jaguars.
