Ty Shad Campbell Obituary, Death – At 4:25 a.m., authorities from the Newark police department arrived at the 300 block of Grove Street in response to a distress call. They discovered Campbell outside the premises, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds, as confirmed by Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé. Campbell was swiftly transported to University Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival, as stated by Stephens and Fragé.
