Robert Clark Obituary – The Greene County Sheriff’s Department (GCSD) reported that a tragic incident occurred on Tuesday night when a man lost his life after a tractor-trailer overturned on top of him. Deputies responded to a call at the 1800 block of Charles Johnson Road around 8:15 p.m.
The victim, identified as Robert Clark from Afton, was found trapped under the vehicle and unresponsive. The GCSD was informed that Clark had been working on the property for the past three days and had parked the truck and trailer in the same location. Prior to the accident, Clark had messaged the caller to discuss the job.
As the caller was heading down the driveway to meet Clark, the unfortunate incident took place. Clark’s body was taken for an autopsy, and the truck and trailer were left at the scene until the family could arrange for their removal. Personal belongings of the victim were handed over to his family members.
