Ricky Johnson, Clayton McGeeney Death – The Kansas City Police Department has now identified the three deceased individuals who were discovered behind a residence in Kansas City’s Northland area earlier this week. The incident unfolded when a woman, in search of her fiancé, contacted the authorities on Tuesday night. She reported finding a lifeless body at a residence located on N.W. 83 Terrace near N. Overland Drive.
Upon arriving at the scene, the woman had initially attempted to make contact with someone inside the house, but received no response. Subsequently, she resorted to breaking into the basement, where she ultimately stumbled upon a body situated on the back porch. The arrival of law enforcement officers confirmed the presence of a deceased individual on the back porch. As the investigation progressed, two additional bodies were discovered in the backyard.
The victims have been identified as Ricky Johnson, aged 38, Clayton McGeeney, aged 36, and David Harrington, aged 37. Although the police have not disclosed any further details regarding the cause of death, they did mention that no apparent signs of foul play were observed at or near the crime scene during the initial assessment on Tuesday.
On the following day, relatives of one of the residents residing at the Northland home claimed that he had informed them that “his friends froze to death.” However, a spokesperson from the Kansas City Police Department clarified that the investigation is currently pending the completion of the medical examiner’s work. It may take several weeks before the results of the autopsy and other tests are obtained, shedding light on the exact cause of death and allowing the investigation to progress further.
