Paul Christie Death – The identity of the man who was killed on Monday night during a robbery attempt in a neighborhood in Bossier City has been established. Paul Christie, aged 54, tragically lost his life after being shot in the upper right leg. The Bossier City police have taken Timothy Dewayne Perkins, aged 29, into custody and charged him with first-degree murder in relation to Christie’s death.
The incident occurred at approximately 6 p.m. at the intersection of Butler and Scott streets. According to the police, Christie was walking alongside two other men when one of them tried to rob the other two, resulting in a gunshot being fired. In addition to the murder charge, Perkins is also facing charges of obstruction of justice, possession of a firearm by a felon, and aggravated battery.
He is currently being held on a bond of $1.55 million.
