Michael A.H. Sanson, Brenda M. Atkisson Death – In Fauquier County, a fatal crash took place on Wednesday morning, resulting in the deaths of two individuals from Orange According to the Virginia State Police, the incident occurred at approximately 11:05 a.m. on James Madison Highway, just south of the Beach Road intersection.
A 2006 Chevrolet Equinox traveling southbound veered off the right side of James Madison Highway, colliding with a mailbox and subsequently a tree.
Tragically, both the driver, Michael A.H. Sanson, aged 31, and the passenger, Brenda M. Atkisson, aged 67, lost their lives at the scene of the accident.
While Atkisson was wearing a seat belt, Sanson was not. Authorities have identified speed as a contributing factor in this collision, which remains under investigation.
