Matthew Bonds Death– Matthew Bonds, a 43-year-old individual, has been positively identified as the fourth deceased person discovered in Reedley on Tuesday. This is the same person whom the police had been actively searching for since the discovery of three other bodies on Saturday.
According to Police Chief Joe Garza, Bonds’ body was found in the neighboring house to the original crime scene where the initial homicide took place. The victims found on Saturday morning were 81-year-old Billy Bonds, 44-year-old Guadalupe Bonds (Matthew’s spouse), and an unidentified third individual. The identity of this third person is still unknown.
In relation to these tragic events, a 17-year-old boy has been apprehended and is facing four counts of homicide. Additionally, authorities have arrested the teen’s mother, 34-year-old Brynn Curtis, and her boyfriend, 21-year-old Rafael Gonzalez, on charges of being accessories after the fact.
Furthermore, law enforcement officers executed search warrants at a residence in Parlier and another house in Selma. As a result, two vehicles were impounded.
A press conference featuring the Reedley Police Chief has been scheduled for 1 p.m.
