Marshon Burch Death: Kokomo man, 21, shot in car pinned under parked semi.

Marshon Burch Death – A fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday afternoon is currently under investigation by the Kokomo police. Shortly after 3 p.m. on May 5, officers were called to the scene of a reported crash near the intersection of East Richmond and North Ohio streets.

Upon arrival, the police discovered a car trapped beneath a parked semi-trailer. Two individuals who were inside the car managed to escape unharmed. However, they informed the authorities that the driver was still trapped inside the vehicle and had sustained a gunshot wound.

Kokomo firefighters promptly arrived at the scene and successfully extricated the driver from the car. Emergency medical personnel transported the driver to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The victim has been identified as 21-year-old Marshon Burch from Kokomo, according to the Howard County Coroner’s Office. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the exact cause and manner of his death.

The other two occupants of the car sustained minor injuries but have been uncooperative with the police. Currently, there is no available information regarding a potential suspect or the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
