Leah Herman, Draiden Frank Obituary: Police identify three deceased in Friday crash in Port St. Lucie.

Leah Herman, Draiden Frank Obituary, Death – Three individuals who perished in a single-vehicle accident late Friday night have been identified by police on Monday. The crash occurred in the 1900 block of Southeast Veterans Memorial Parkway, west of U.S. 1, claiming the lives of Leah Herman, aged 20, and Draiden Frank, aged 16, both from Port St. Lucie, as well as Jimmy Brown, aged 18, from Okeechobee, according to the Port St. Lucie Police.

Additionally, a 17-year-old girl and a 19-year-old man sustained injuries in the accident, which transpired when a southbound 2017 Dodge Ram pickup veered off the roadway and collided with a tree.

Lt. John Dellacroce, spokesperson for the Port St. Lucie Police, revealed that all five individuals involved were friends. At the crash site on Monday, pink and blue flags marked the path leading to the tree, adorned with flowers, pictures, and three white crosses. Nearby were three additional markers surrounded by memorials.

The police did not disclose the identity of the pickup’s driver, clarify if anyone was in the truck bed, or confirm if speed contributed to the crash.

“It’s an active and ongoing investigation,” stated Dellacroce on Monday. “Traffic homicide investigators are still determining the cause of the crash at this time.”

Dellacroce confirmed that no arrests have been made and urged anyone with information or video footage of the incident to contact Traffic Homicide Investigator Brian Thompson at 772-871-5001.
