Kalob Ruth, Carlos Gonzalez Obituary, Death – The two males who were fatally shot in a wooded area of Kansas City have been identified as a 19-year-old young man named Kalob Ruth and a 17-year-old teenager named Carlos Gonzalez. The Kansas City, Mo., Police Department made this announcement on Friday morning, March 8. First responders were called to the University of Kansas Medical Center around 12:45 a.m. on Thursday after reports of a shooting.
Hospital staff informed them that two males had been brought in by private vehicle with gunshot wounds, and unfortunately, both were pronounced dead at the hospital. Investigators believe the shooting took place in a wooded area somewhere within the city limits of Kansas City, Mo. An adult male was taken into custody on Thursday, but their identity has not been disclosed yet. Police have stated that no additional persons of interest are being sought, and the case is still being investigated as a homicide.
