Isaiah Brewster Death, TUCSON, Ariz. – The deceased individual following a shooting incident in midtown Tucson has been identified by the Tucson Police Department. Responding to a shooting at a gas station near 22nd Street and Alvernon Way on March 25, officers discovered 23-year-old Isaiah Brewster unresponsive with a gunshot wound at 9:45 p.m. Unfortunately, Brewster was pronounced dead at the scene.
Additionally, a 28-year-old woman was found with a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital by the Tucson Fire Department with non-life-threatening injuries. The altercation leading to the shooting involved Brewster and a couple in the gas station parking lot. Brewster fired a gun, injuring the woman, before being shot by a security guard who witnessed the incident. As of now, no charges have been filed, but the investigation findings will be presented to the Pima County Attorney’s Office.
