Daniel Lee Morris Obituary, Death – A man from Rio Linda has passed away as a result of a hit-and-run incident on Rio Linda Boulevard and Ephesus Avenue in Sacramento, according to the police. Cellosea Chilton, who has been using Rio Linda Boulevard daily for the past three years, resides near the street and is aware of the potential dangers, especially for young children.
Chilton mentioned that she instructs her children not to go beyond a certain point due to safety concerns. The tragic incident occurred on a Saturday evening, with a motorcyclist being struck by a car. Regrettably, the motorcyclist did not survive, and the driver fled the scene. Residents like Mehedi Chowdhury, who has observed an increase in risks for pedestrians, cyclists, and drivers in the area, expressed their concerns about the lack of speed enforcement and safety measures.
Sacramento police are now seeking the individual responsible for the hit-and-run. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Daniel Lee Morris by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office, and authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward.
