Corey Christopher Krohn Obituary – A Rochester man lost his life in a rollover crash on Sunday afternoon. The State Patrol promptly arrived at the scene of the single-vehicle accident, which occurred on Hwy. 63/75th St. Northwest between Hwy. 52 and North Broadway Ave. According to the state crash report, a pick-up traveling eastbound veered off the road and overturned.
The driver, 55-year-old Corey Christopher Krohn, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. A teenage boy named Wyatt Russell Krohn, aged 15 and from Rochester, was also in the vehicle. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a Mayo Clinic hospital for treatment.
The report confirms that both occupants of the pick-up were wearing seat belts and that alcohol was not a factor in the fatal crash. Additionally, the road conditions on Hwy. 63 were dry at the time of the accident. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department, and Mayo Clinic Ambulance all responded to the crash scene.
