Connor Amador Death: Man, 20, killed in Lompoc officer-involved shooting named

Connor Amador Death – The man who was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Lompoc has been identified by the Lompoc Police. The incident occurred last week when officers responded to reports of a robbery. The first incident took place on December 28th at 11:30 p.m. at a Circle K store on E Ocean Ave. The suspect, 20-year-old Connor Amador, entered the store armed and robbed the clerk of money and alcohol before fleeing the scene.

Despite a search, Amador was not found at that time. The second incident occurred on December 29th at around 1:18 a.m. when officers once again responded to Circle K. Amador attempted to carjack someone in the parking lot but the person managed to escape safely. Amador then reentered the store and attempted another robbery. When he exited the store, he was confronted by officers and the shooting occurred, resulting in his death.

The investigation into the officer-involved shooting is currently ongoing and being conducted by the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, they are urged to come forward.
