Clint Newton Death – The Nevada State Police reported that a Spring Creek man lost his life in Elko County due to a rollover incident. Clint Newton, aged 45, was declared deceased at the accident site on the Lamoille Highway, approximately one mile north of the Jiggs Highway junction.
The NSP arrived at the scene of the collision around 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. According to the NSP, Newton was driving south in a 1992 Cadillac Allante convertible when he was unable to navigate a sharp left turn. Newton crossed both lanes of the road and ended up on the shoulder, resulting in the vehicle overturning. Newton was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car.
