Carlos Barrett Sr Obituary, Death – Police in Prince George’s County are currently investigating a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a 48-year-old pedestrian. The victim, identified as Carlos Barrett Sr. from Suitland, was fatally injured in the crash.
According to authorities, the incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on March 15 at the intersection of Branch Avenue and the Suitland Parkway. Police were initially dispatched to conduct a welfare check at the overpass, where they discovered Barrett in the roadway with severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Barrett was struck by a vehicle traveling in the southbound lanes of Branch Avenue. The driver responsible for the collision fled the scene, and currently, the make and model of the vehicle are unknown.
