Blair Fuller-Barnard Death: Maine teen dies after crash in Waldo County.

Blair Fuller-Barnard Death – Blair Fuller-Barnard, an 18-year-old from Montville, tragically passed away last week following a crash in the town of Liberty in Waldo County. The incident occurred when Fuller-Barnard was driving a 2002 Toyota Camry on West Main Street and turned onto Belfast Augusta Road without yielding to a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a tractor-trailer. The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office reported that both vehicles were traveling in opposite directions. Fuller-Barnard and her 19-year-old passenger, Donovan Aldus, were airlifted to a hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, Fuller-Barnard did not survive, while Aldus remains hospitalized with severe injuries.

In the wake of this devastating event, Fuller-Barnard’s mother, Terri Smart, expressed her gratitude for her daughter’s decision to donate her organs, which has provided a miracle for many others. Smart created a GoFundMe page to raise funds for her daughter’s funeral expenses and to support Aldus’ recovery. She highlighted Fuller-Barnard’s selfless nature, always prioritizing the needs of others above her own.

Donovan Aldus, who is still in the hospital, will be unable to return to work for the foreseeable future due to the severity of his injuries. The aim is to raise funds to cover end-of-life and medical expenses for the couple, as Aldus is currently uninsured. A celebration of Blair’s life will be held at a later date, with further details to be shared when available.

Fortunately, the driver of the pickup truck, a 58-year-old man from Freeport, and the tractor-trailer driver, a 62-year-old man from Belgrade, did not sustain any injuries in the crash.
