Azucena Perez, Harold Liberty IV Death Identified: 2 Killed in Tracy Wrong-Way Crash

Azucena Perez, Harold Liberty IV Death – Azucena Perez, 32, from Fort Bragg, and Harold Liberty IV, 19, from Antioch have been identified as the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a wrong-way crash in Tracy. The San Joaquin Medical Examiner’s Office has officially confirmed their identities to ABC10 on Monday.

The incident occurred on Sunday at approximately 2 a.m. when a 2007 Honda Accord collided head-on with a 2023 Kia Telluride on I-580, just west of Corral Hollow Road in Tracy, according to the California Highway Patrol. Both vehicles overturned during the collision, and the driver of the Honda, Harold Liberty, was ejected into the center median, resulting in his immediate death.

Azucena Perez, the driver of the Kia, was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries. Additionally, a 35-year-old man and a 2-month-old girl sustained major injuries, while a 4-year-old boy suffered minor injuries. All three individuals were from Fort Bragg and were promptly taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

At this time, it remains unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the occurrence of the crash.
