Anihya Nesbitt Death – On Saturday, April 6, a tragic incident occurred in Monroe County, resulting in the death of a woman from West Point. The victim, identified as Anihya Nesbitt, 21, was involved in a four-wheeler accident during a trail ride on Egypt Road at around 10:30 p.m.
According to Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley, the victim lost control of the ATV and was rushed to the hospital in Aberdeen. Unfortunately, she passed away upon arrival. Another individual was also injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital in West Point.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, along with Coroner Gurley, is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
